The Berowra Waters Motor Yacht Club was formed on the 12th August 1995 and subsequently incorporated in October 1996.  The goal is to bring together all those who live, work, moor at, or simply love this unique part of the Hawkesbury, Berowra Waters.
Our objectives are to promote safe boating, to promote our club, to protect the interests of our members, and to promote an active interest in Berowra Waters and Berowra Creek.  We air to organise social and educational opportunities for members and their families to enjoy and to learn about the Berowra Waters area.
Our club flag was designed by foundation member Denise Rowell and was taken from a local Aboriginal rock carving located on the eastern side, main channel, just past Deep Bay.

How it came to be upside down is a cause for much speculation, but its uniqueness was thought to be an appropriate symbol for our club.
