Club Membership

BWMYC welcomes new members to our club. Our members are from a wide range of backgrounds and you are sure to find members that you will easily bond with. They are drawn from residents who live on the river, boat owners who moor on the river or at the Marina and those who bring their boats along on a trailer. Some don’t have a boat yet.


Our members are happy to share their knowledge and experience with those who are new to boating. It’s a great way to start your boating life.


BWMYC has many varied activities both on-water and off-water. We encourage active participation. We have had a lot of fun over the last several years and our Social Committee is always open to any new ideas.


Some of our regular club events are:

  • 2nd Friday of the month (2FM) Dinners at the Waterview restaurant at Berowra Waters. This is an informal evening when we get together with other members their friends and family. A great seafood buffet is enjoyed by all.
  • Our Australia day rally sees everyone including the boats fully dressed for the occasion.
  • Our Annual Boat Rally is on the long weekend in October.
  • The BWMYC A.G.M. is held in October and encourages all members to participate with their ideas and participation.
  • There are also many other events such as week-end raft-ups, tender boat picnics and trips away.

BWMYC has three club moorings, for member’s use. Two are located in Joe Craft Bay, Berowra and the other is located in America Bay.
